The Salon at Remington College Cleveland Campus is giving and collecting gifts this holiday season. For the month of December, anyone can receive 50% off one salon service. Plus, anyone who brings in one new unwrapped toy can enjoy a free manicure, pedicured or haircut. The toys will be donated to help make sure every child in the Cleveland area has a present to open this holiday season. Both offers are available from December 1 to December 31, 2017. Story Club is an open mic for true stories and was voted "best bar event" by Thrillist Cleveland. We're thrilled to start this second installment of our Cleveland show at Forest City Brewery! We also three open mic slots so you can share your true story! Open mic sign up starts at 7PM and open micers are given 8 minutes (1300 words) in which to tell their true tales. 13th Annual Winter Walk for epilepsy

Hundreds of individuals and their families will walk together in Northeast Ohio to raise community epilepsy awareness in support of the Epilepsy Association and their 13th Annual Winter Walk for epilepsy. The two-mile Walk will be held indoors at the SouthPark Mall in Strongsville on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. The goal of Walk is to register 500 participants and raise $50,000 by the morning of the Walk. The Walk will include entertainment, mascots, games, epilepsy education and more! Registration per adult is $35. All proceeds go to our local programs serving the Northeast Ohio area. 35

The Middleburg Heights Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Middleburg Heights Department of Recreation, will host the 28th Annual Tom Nowak Big Creek Run. The 5k Run and the 1 Mile (Run or Walk) is on the Big Creek Parkway. Starting line will be at the Middleburg Heights Recreation Center, 16000 Bagley Road, and the finish line will be on the City Hall complex. The first 300 participants will receive "Goodie Bags" and T-Shirts. There will be music provided by TKO Entertainment, light refreshments and an award ceremony at the finish line gazebo.
