A slew of actors, filmmakers and family members participate in Searching for Ingmar Bergman, a documentary movie about the great Swedish director. The movie includes archival film clips and rare photos in telling the story of Bergman, who would've been 100 this year if he hadn't died ten years ago. It shows tonight at 7:15 and tomorrow night at 6:45 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets are $10, or $7 for Cinematheque members and students. (Niesel)

Let the Corpses Tan

A tribute to the Italian crime and action films of the 1960s and 1970s, Let the Corpses Tan focuses on a group of gold thieves who hide out with a artist who lives on a compound on a rocky hillside. Predictably enough, two cops stumble upon the place and all hells breaks loose. The movie makes its Cleveland premiere tonight at 6:30 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque, where it screens again at 8:45 p.m. tomorrow night. Martin Atkins — Memories: My Time In and Out of Public Image Ltd.: 1979-1985

What happens when the last Holocaust survivor is no longer with us? Who will tell their story? The Maltz Museum is launching a first-of-its-kind effort in Cleveland to preserve Holocaust memory. Starting this July you can be part of the beta test of Stanley Bernath, a local Holocaust survivor, whose story has been memorialized as an interactive biography. Join us as we explore what it means to hear from and interact with hologram technology on a screen in our theater. Included with Museum admission

Set under and above the high seas, The Little Mermaid tells the story of Ariel, an adventurous young mermaid who’s got a thing for disobeying the rules and following her heart. Ariel’s fascination with the human world often leads her to the sea surface, a zone that’s designated as “off-limits” by her father Triton, the sea king. One day while sneaking to the surface, Ariel witnesses a shipwreck and rescues Prince Eric, with whom she become instantly smitten.
