Anthony Eterovich was a Cleveland artist who steadfastly celebrated that city in his art throughout his entire life. He studied under John Teyral and Viktor Schreckengost at the Cleveland School of Art (now the Cleveland Institute of Art) after receiving a full scholarship; he in turn influenced countless students while on faculty there for more than 50 years. His work is in the permanent collections of the Butler Institute of American Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve and ARTneo.

This evening of dance is a collection of individual works and styles by UA choreographer Nick Carlisle, and guest choreographers Holly Bass, Mary-Elizabeth Fenn and Kaleb Reilly.The dance styles presented by the artists are a blend of contemporary modern and contemporary ballet styles. Tickets are $12 for general admission, $10 for seniors, alumni, UA faculty and staff, and $6 for students.

A Thrilling Act, the Art of Anthony Eterovich (1916-2011)

This fall, the retrospective exhibition A Thrilling Act: The art of Anthony Eterovich (1916-2011) which opened at Tregoning & Company in April 2016 will go on tour throughout Ohio and beyond. Anthony Eterovich was a Cleveland artist who steadfastly celebrated that city in his art throughout his entire life. He studied under John Teyral and Viktor Schreckengost at the Cleveland School of Art (now the Cleveland Institute of Art) after receiving a full scholarship; he in turn influenced countless students while on faculty there for more than 50 years.
