Anthony Eterovich was a Cleveland artist who steadfastly celebrated that city in his art throughout his entire life. He studied under John Teyral and Viktor Schreckengost at the Cleveland School of Art (now the Cleveland Institute of Art) after receiving a full scholarship; he in turn influenced countless students while on faculty there for more than 50 years. His work is in the permanent collections of the Butler Institute of American Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve and ARTneo.

Chris Norton has been hearing about alien abductions his entire life but, in his gut, he knows they are not real. Setting out to disprove the alien abduction phenomenon once and for all, he attends a UFO convention to meet alleged abductees and reveal the truth behind their experiences. It is only when he meets Emily, who claims to have been abducted every seven years on her birthday, that Chris realizes there may be more to these claims than meets the eye.

The Cleveland Bonsai Club is hosting our annual show the weekend of Saturday, September 29th and Sunday, September 30th. Come and see more than 50 trees and learn about the art of bonsai! Trees will be on display at all stages of development. Vendors will have trees, pots, and other supplies for sale. Demonstrations daily! Learn how these trees are selected, potted, wired, trimmed, and cared for from our club masters. While you're here, visit the beautiful greenhouses and gardens of Rockefeller Greenhouse. The show is free and open to the public, though donations are accepted. Free parking! 0

This fall, the retrospective exhibition A Thrilling Act: The art of Anthony Eterovich (1916-2011) which opened at Tregoning & Company in April 2016 will go on tour throughout Ohio and beyond. Anthony Eterovich was a Cleveland artist who steadfastly celebrated that city in his art throughout his entire life. He studied under John Teyral and Viktor Schreckengost at the Cleveland School of Art (now the Cleveland Institute of Art) after receiving a full scholarship; he in turn influenced countless students while on faculty there for more than 50 years.
