Monsters captivated the imagination of medieval men and women, just as they continue to fascinate us today. Drawing on the Morgan Library & Museum’s superb collection of illuminated manuscripts, this major exhibition— the first of its kind in North America—will explore the complex social role of monsters in the Middle Ages. CASA of Cuyahoga County recruits, screens, trains & supports volunteers who act as advocates for children who are victims of abuse & neglect. Volunteers collect information that helps the judge make the best decision for a safe, caring, & permanent home for children. CASA volunteers are everyday citizens who are trained & appointed by the court to advocate for the safety and well-being of children. The CASA volunteer is responsible for investigation, facilitation, advocacy, & monitoring of the assigned child's case of abuse, neglect, and/or dependency to represent the child's best interests. 216-698-2406
