Each month, GlamGore, a drag show at the Grog Shop, features a variety of performance artists under one roof. The shows include everyone from "beauty queens" to "drag monsters." Tonight's show theme is Frights in Tights with performers Ursula Major, the breakout star from alternative drag reality competition show The Boulet Brothers: Dragula" Season 1 along with Silver Uzumaki, Clinica Deprecious, and Betty Whatsherface. There will also be a costume contest. Tickets cost $10 in advance, $12 at the door, or $15 for VIP tickets that give you early bird access to the Grog starting at 8 p.m. and a special photo opportunity/meet-and-greet with the cast. The exhibition Michelangelo: Mind of the Master presents an unprecedented opportunity for museum visitors to experience the brilliance of Michelangelo’s achievements on an intimate scale through more than two dozen original drawings. Michelangelo’s genius is especially evident through his breathtaking draftsmanship on sheets filled with multiple figures and close studies of human anatomy. CASA of Cuyahoga County recruits, screens, trains & supports volunteers who act as advocates for children who are victims of abuse & neglect. Volunteers collect information that helps the judge make the best decision for a safe, caring, & permanent home for children. CASA volunteers are everyday citizens who are trained & appointed by the court to advocate for the safety and well-being of children. The CASA volunteer is responsible for investigation, facilitation, advocacy, & monitoring of the assigned child's case of abuse, neglect, and/or dependency to represent the child's best interests. 216-698-2406
