East Cleveland hip-hop artist Machine Gun Kelly (aka Colson Baker) has officially signed on for Sandra Bullock's latest project Bird Box, Variety reports.
MGK, who's already had a big year after being named a Reebok global ambassador, releasing a super-slick new album and announcing a special Cleveland Christmas show, is joining a cast that also includes Sarah Paulson, Jacki Weaver and the always strange John Malkovich. Taking on director duties is Susanne Bier, of After the Wedding and Things We Lost in the Fire.
All we currently know about the plot of this Netflix thriller/drama is that it's set in a post-apocalyptic world where people are forced to walk along a river. No word on if MGK is set to rap for this one, or how much screen time he'll get with Bullock.
This is not Machine Gun Kelly's first foray into acting, of course. He was previously seen in the indie films Nerve and The Land, along with the short-lived Cameron Crowe TV show Roadies. And you can soon see him in next year's Captive State.
