Spanish Artist Sam3 Tapped to Paint Iconic Cleveland Water Tower

Cleveland's iconic water tower is getting an update. With the help of LAND Studio, which works to bring public art to Cleveland, Spanish artist Sam3 has been tapped to spruce up the landmark with a fresh mural.

This Wednesday, at a public meeting, Clevelanders get the chance to meet the heralded artist and share ideas for what the tower could look like.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
5:30 p.m. Community Meeting begins at Mariner's Watch (3107 Detroit Rd.)
6 p.m. Take a walk to the water tower
7 p.m. Head to Jukebox ( 1404 W. 29th St.) for more conversation

And while many fantastic art ideas will most likely be brought to the table at Wednesday's meeting, we're still behind Cleveland's most-inspired change.org petition, which suggested turning the water tower into a LEGO Man minifigure.
