The 32-year-old comedian moved to the Big Apple in 2003, after fine-tuning his act in local clubs for five years. He now splits his time auditioning for commercials and TV shows and promoting his debut comedy CD, 1647 Waterbury, which is named after DeVito's boyhood home. It's the major leagues compared to being in middle America on a farm team." DeVito says he's logged more than 360,000 miles on his 2000 Cavalier, driving to college campuses and comedy clubs across the country. "You've gotta go on the road to make money," he says. "It's a long road."
