Burke Airport's museum pays tribute to flight attendants.

Stewardesses finally get some respect in Air Hostess — Honoring Flight Attendants Past & Present, now on view at the International Women's Air & Space Museum. The exhibit takes a look at the gals who, for the past 75 years, have made air travel a little more pleasant by handing out small bags of pretzels, even smaller bottles of booze, and the tiniest pillows known to man. Air Hostess includes uniforms, photos, and other artifacts, all accompanied by tons of historical info — like the fact that attendants used to help push planes into the hangar after landing.
