BC Camplight is one of those one-man bands that disguises itself as a full-time group. Still, 25-year-old Brian Christinzio manages to build a wall of sound on his debut album,
Hide, Run Away. Layering playful synth notes, pop harmonies, and sing-along choruses, Christinzio is also the sort of guy who can write a song called “Blood and Peanut Butter” about romantic longing and make it sound like a butterfly-adorned picnic.
