Best of all, since its a family-friendly fest, young folks can check out some of the citys most popular hot spots -- without having to use their fake IDs. Eateries like the Waterstreet Grill, Brasa, and the Nauti Mermaid serve up some of their best dishes alfresco. Its for the sophisticated palate and parents bringing their kids out, says Mandell. The Plus Band, the Latin Jazz Project, and UP Ensemble bring the noise to a pair of outdoor stages, while BMXers perform motocross stunts and local artists show off their work.
Also, area residents will open their apartment and condo doors, and show visitors their fabulous downtown living spaces. With all the fun indoors and outside, says Mandell, this is the sort of festival that makes you happy to live in Cleveland.
