Spin Cycle

Anatomy co-owner Tino Roncone is always looking for innovative ideas to keep his Warehouse District nightspot a cut above the rest. He thinks he's found a winner for tonight's Percussion jam, with DJ Adio alternating on stage with drummer Kevin "K2" Kristofeld. "Some clubs have a great DJ sound, and some have great live music," says Adio. "This is the best of both worlds." Club patrons give it a thumbs-up too. Roncone will expand the blowout on Monday for the club's New Year's Eve party, when Adio will switch things up with bongo and horn players. And the bar will hawk $3 VitaminWater cocktails and $5 mojitos. "We like doing something high-end," says Roncone. "We like to see people watching, dancing, and having a new experience that's completely cool." The drum and DJ sets start at 9:30 tonight at Anatomy, 1299 West Ninth Street. Admission is free.
