Trax to Grind

Medina County foursome can shift from '60s to '00s in seconds.

From the House of Blues and Carnival Cruise Lines to Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo resort in Mexico, Time Trax has piled up an impressive résumé of venues where the Brunswick-based quartet, with its more than 100-song set list, has jammed. With leader Mike Morris on bass, Mandy Bay handles lead vocals across a gamut of musical genres, from a '60s-era rendition of Little Eva's "Loco-Motion" to an '80s flashback of Pat Benatar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" to a 21st-century performance of the Pussycat Dolls' "Don't Cha." Add guitarist-keyboardist Mike Seeholzer and drummer Rodney Kramer to the mix, and the band can even launch into "Beer Barrel Polka" and "Chicken Dance," if anybody asks. Time Trax performs at 7:30 tonight at the Savannah Bar & Grille, 30676 Detroit Road in Westlake. Admission is free. Call 440-892-2266.
