It's raining in Northeast Ohio, and it seems the downpour is set to continue for the entirety of the week, the National Weather Service reports.

With the unseasonably warm temperatures headed our way (close to 70 degrees on Tuesday), Boston Mills, Brandywine and Alpine Valley resorts, all owned by Peak Resorts, are closing up shop today through Wednesday in an attempt to wait out the weather, preserve as much snow as possible and keep the season going. That means no practicing your Olympic-caliber ski or snowboarding runs for the time being, at nearby resorts anyway. You'll have to settle for watching on TV.

The ski resorts all plan to reopen by Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
