Tap your phone screen a few times and just wait for food, groceries, a ride or just about anything in the Amazon warehouse, to arrive at your front door. Now, thanks to an app called Nurx, you can get your birth control delivered as well in Ohio.

The process begins with the app prompting the user to answer questions about her health, as well as additional information about any current birth control. The user is then prescribed a birth control regime by the app's health care providers. Working with a slew of local pharmacies, a three-month supply of the pill is then shipped to the user's home free of charge.

Nurx, which also offers emergency contraception and PrEP as well as birth control patches and rings, is available for those with or without insurance. The company has been operating for two years and plans on expanding throughout the country.

The app was created with the goal of making access to birth control easier. However, it is emphasized that despite the convenience of Nurx, users should still visit their doctors for regular checkups.
