New lunch hours... Beginning March 5, Brecksville's 2182 Bistro & Wine Bar (http://www.2182Bistroandwinebar.com) will begin serving lunch, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. According to co-owner and host Brian Klopp, plans are also in the works for securing a small outdoor dining space. And finally, Klopp reminds us that the $10 corking fee is waived each Monday, and all bottles of wine are available at state retail prices. (To read a review on 2182.) WVIZ/PBS Cooks! Restaurant Edition will air this Saturday, March 3 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and again on Sunday, March 4 at 2 p.m., with a focus on Cleveland's special occasion spots. Among the featured dishes, look for rock shrimp and chorizo mac & cheese, from chef Todd Arnold (Don's Pomeroy House); and tiramisu from chef Jonathan Bennett (Moxie and Red the Steakhouse). Viewers will also have a chance to snag the Restaurant Edition "Special Occasions" cookbook, including more than 100 recipes from many of Northeast Ohio's top restaurants, including One Walnut, Fire, Fahrenheit, Three Birds, Thyme, and Sokolowski's University Inn. Chef-restaurateur Eric Williams will be hosting a five-course chile pepper dinner at Momocho at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28. The five-course fiesta will proceed from the mildest to the meanest; to help soothe the burn, each course will be paired with an appropriate wine. Cost is $40 per person, plus tax and tip. If the enthusiastic response to Williams' monthly tequila dinners is any indication, this one will fill up fast. For more info and reservations, visit the website or call 216-694-2122. -- Elaine T.
