Dems Showing Up, GOP Staying Home

I just talked to Ben LaBolt, spokesman for the Sherrod Brown senatorial campaign. He says he's been hearing there's been high turnout by African Americans and low turnout in traditionally Republican districts. It's anecdotal, but it's a lot different than the dour faces worn by Democrats in 2004, which was fraught with Election Day snafus. -- Kevin Hoffman
