This Just In: Feist to Play Cleveland's Playhouse Square

Feist -- the Grammy-nominated (and Canadian!) sophisticated-pop songstress who's a sometimes member of Broken Social Scene, but more famously sings that "1-2-3-4" song with the elaborately choreographed video that made a splash in iPod commercials last fall -- will play Playhouse Square's Palace Theatre (1519 Euclid Ave.) Wednesday, April 23. The show kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets run from $10 to $35 -- which, in this day and age, ain't bad. Tix are available via PlayHouseSquare.org or 216-241-6000. Feist also sang that "Mushaboom" song that you heard all the time at Starbucks a couple years back. And the rest of her new album, The Reminder, is pretty fun, too. And here's an amusing Mad TV parody of the video that sends up iPods. -- D.X. Ferris
