Hearty congratulations and perhaps an economy sized package of Imodium go out to
@mindofquinn and
@iamblakelopez1 this morning after each man ate more chicken nuggets (111) than the Denver Nuggets scored points last night (108) against the Cavs in what the record books will show as the first victories in the
#MeVsNuggets challenge.
What's that? Pretty simple. When the Cavs play the Nuggets, the goal is to eat more processed chicken niblets than the Denver squad scores buckets against the beloved Wine and Gold. The masochistic gastrointestinal challenge was created years ago by
@WayneEmbrysKids, who you might know from Cavs Twitter or as one of the fellas behind the Cavs Zine.
It should be noted that @mindofquinn not only partook in the battle last night, but also Saturday evening when the Cavs played the Nuggets at home, meaning he's eaten some
229 McNuggets in less than a week. As one maybe unhelpful Twitter user pointed out, that's "572.5 grams of carbs, 120 grams of saturated fat, 1603 mg of cholesterol and 11,049 calories."
Quipped Quinn this morning in the aftermath of the intake of such quantities, probably exceeding any recommended human allowance: "The smell of victory... stinks."
