Here's something truly outrageous: a Jem and the Holograms convention is coming to Cleveland.

After bouncing around different cities across the country for the past 13 years, JemCon has landed in Northeast Ohio at the Double Tree Hilton in Westlake. The event is set to run from Aug. 24-26.

Speaking to Cleveland.com, the host of this year's convention, Rachel Pankiw, says she expects around 150 fans of the '80s cartoon to attend. This year's lineup of special guests includes series creator Christy Marx and the voice of Jem herself, Samantha Newark.

To kick off the celebration of everyone's favorite holographic glam rock band, attendees are welcome to a meet up the day before the convention's official start at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Other convention activities include a cosplay contest, a Q&A with the special guests and a silent auction of Jem memorabilia.

More information on the convention can be found on their website.
