Some drag queens are divas. Some are nuns. Some are torch singers. Dixie Longate is a Tupperware lady. In Dixie’s Tupperware Party, a one-woman show written by Kris Andersson and Elizabeth Meriweather, the protagonist talks about her trailer-park life (including multiple ex-husbands and slutty kids) while filling us in on the myriad uses of re-sealable plastic tubs. Falsies are among the more innocent applications in Dixie’s world. Bring your wallet: She’s actually selling stuff (she’ll be giving some away too). The show kicks off a 16-city national tour in Cleveland at 8 p.m. at
Playhouse Square's 14th Street Theatre (2037 E. 14th St., 216.241.6000). It runs through October 18. Tickets: $10-$35. —
