3/27-28 & 4/3: Easter Bunny sightings

With Easter just a week away, the Easter Bunny will be busy this weekend, greeting kids around the area. The Cleveland Metropark Zoo (3900 Wildlife Way, 216.661.6500) offers Breakfast With the Easter Bunny in its rainforest March 27, March 28 and on April 3. A breakfast buffet is served from 8:30-9:30 a.m., followed by face-painting, crafts, opportunities to get up close to some animals (in addition to the Easter bunny) and a 10 a.m. egg roll. Fee — $22.50 for adults, $18.50 for ages 2-11 — includes zoo admission, so you can make a day of it. Call 216.635.3000 to buy tickets. Akronites can have breakfast with the bunny from 9-11 a.m. March 27, March 28 and on April 3 at the Akron Zoo (500 Edgewood Ave., 330.375.2550). Kids and their escorts get a meal, a photo with the bunny, a goodie bag, an egg hunt and free zoo admission afterward. Tickets: $14-$21. Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad becomes the Easter Bunny Express this weekend, with rides, crafts, a puppet show and an egg hunt. You can board at 10 a.m. at the Rockside station (7900 Old Rockside Rd., Independence) or at 11:35 a.m. at Akron’s Northside station (27 Ridge St., off Howard St., downtown Akron).
