4/14: CIM's New Music Ensemble

The Cleveland Institute of Music’s New Music Ensemble returns to MOCA Cleveland tonight for its second Harmonic Hues series concert. This time, it’s adding a Western European musical sensibility to iona rozeal brown’s all falls down exhibit of paintings, which merges 17th-century Japanese Ukiyo-e influences to hip-hop style. Directed by Keith Fitch, the ensemble will perform works by Igor Stravinsky, and CIM and Case Western Reserve University grad Eugene O’Brien. The concert is followed by a reception.
