- You can see Paramore this summer without paying $347.89 in service fees
It’s about time somebody did this.
Live Nation just announced No Service Fee June, eliminating — for an entire month! — all those crappy and pesky service fees they attach to tickets for shows at Live Nation-owned amphitheaters.
Venues include Nautica Pavillion, Time Warner Cable Amphitheater at Tower City, and Blossom Music Center.
I can’t tell you how many times I have been excited to buy a few tickets I found online for a good deal, only to be hit with some $10 service fee that stops me from purchasing those tickets. Charging me $10 for using my printer? Ridiculous. It’s like charging to use wi-fi at the airport. Didn’t I already buy a $200 airplane ticket and buy a mediocre bagel from your knock-off bagel shop? Now I have to pay for Internet too? But I digress ...
So thank you, Live Nation, for saving hundreds of people from enrolling in anger-management classes for going into a rant like I just did.
No Service Fee June begins today and ends at 11:59 a.m. on June 30 (boy, that ain't kidding about that whole-month thing, are they?).
This deal is available only for tickets purchased through Livenation.com, where you can find a complete list of on-sale dates and artists coming to those venues. —Jordan Zirm
