Ministry to Perform at the Agora Theatre in November

When the industrial rock band Ministry performed at the Agora Theatre two years ago, singer Al Jourgensen screamed more than he sang during the extremely loud and aggressive concert, barking out the lyrics to leftist-leaning tunes such as the set’s opening number “Hail to His Majesty (Peasants)," a heavy song that benefited from some symphonic synthesizer riffs, and “N.W.O.,” the band's infamous anti-anthem that began with what sounded like sirens before heavy guitar riffs and parched vocals took over.

It was a terrific performance propelled by Jourgensen’s anxiety about the current political climate.

Earlier today, Ministry announced more dates in support of its most recent album, AmeriKKKant. The tour comes to the Agora Theatre on Nov. 30. Carpenter Brut and Igorrr will open the show.

"I think the sets are going to work really well together," says Jourgensen in a press release announcing the dates. "Looking forward to seeing the masses collapsing into a puddle of sweat by the end of the festivities."

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.
