The worst one is the one I learned the most from. When I first took over, I traded Roberto Alomar to the Mets. It wasn't so much that we traded Roberto Alomar. We made a decision that wasn't firmly rooted in strategy. We didn't go after Jose Reyes or David Wright. We got Matt Lawton. . . . It wasn't the trade. It was more about the return, and ensuring that a decision is part of a strategy.
