Cleveland-native, lady boxer extraordinaire and Scene staff bodyguard, Cashmere “Lady Cash” Jackson has been down in Barbados duking it out under the palms at the Women’s World Championship. After a strong run, Jackson suffered her first lost in competitive boxing on Friday night, a hard fought semifinal match with Russian heavy Vera Slugina. Jackson will still be marching home with a bronze medal, and that’s a hell of an accomplishment. Hat’s off.
