Mayor of Walton Hills — the Village of Butthead Misogynists — to Resign After Sexual Harassment Lawsuit
Village of Walton Hills: Mayor's Corner
The crowd at a Walton Hills village council meeting Wednesday night applauded as Mayor Kevin Hurst announced that he would resign in the wake of a sexual harassment lawsuit.

Hurst, who was first elected Mayor in 2012 and ran unopposed in 2016, said he would step aside next week.

A lawsuit filed earlier this week by the village's Clerk of Courts, Nancy Zolgharnain, said that Hurst had started rumors that he was having an affair with her and then threatened to fire her when she complained about them.

Cleveland.com's Cory Shaffer reported on the suit, and what was described as an "appalling" culture inside the village hall, in depth.

In addition to a Mayor who attempts to enlarge himself by starting rumors of nonexistent affairs, Walton Hills is home to a councilman, Denny Linville, who approaches teenagers in public places and later comments on their attractiveness.

Linville is involved in the Zolgharnain suit as well. After a recent council meeting, he is alleged to have approached her husband to advise him that his wife was "one hot egg," and had to protect her.
