Next week, downtown Cleveland will get a new giant banner to replace the massive Nike roadside display that went down when LeBron left town.
Tuesday October 26, Sherwin Williams — the company whose world headquarters resides in the Landmark Office Towers building across the street from the Q — will hoist a new banner entitled “Our Home Since 1866. Our Pride Forever.” The picture of the Cleveland skyline will be ten stories tall, 210 feet wide, and 1.3 tons heavy. It features a full lighting system that will sparkle at night.
A 12-worker crew will begin hanging the 14 vinyl mesh panels 7 a.m. Tuesday. The same size as the LeBanner, it will be one of the five largest wall displays in America. — D.X. Ferris
