The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency has a long history of honoring departing board members. Jimmy Dimora is a departing board member of NOACA.
And thus the dilemma. Would NOACA honor Dimora, even with the small matter of the Cuyahoga County corruption investigation and federal indictments attached to his significant girth like stray crumbs from a roast beef sandwich?
This morning, we got our answer. Bay Village Mayor Deborah Sutherland made a motion to remove the resolution honoring Dimora and the board voted in accord.
Sutherland even got in a nice jab when asked why she suggested that everyone's favorite target of a federal investigation not be honored. "I think there are at least 26 reasons, aren't there?" she said. "So pick one."
