A Very Metal Christmas Benefit

Feel like doing something good for your fellow Clevelanders and rocking the fuck out one last time before Christmas? The annual Iron Ingo Cleveland Metal Holiday Food Drive happens Friday night.

Unfortunately, you're gonna have to head to Parma for the volume-powered benefit concert, to the Saw Concert Club, which used to be the Jigsaw before this a-hole ran it to the ground.

But the trip will make up for it in the sheer number of (mostly) local metal bands performing: Eternal Legacy, Soulless, Shok Paris, Cryptkicker, Ground Zero, Borrowed Time, and Alternate Reality, who we're hoping will break out their Arthurian costumes for their set.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the concert, which benefits the Cleveland Foodbank and Friends of the Cleveland Kennel.

The show, sponsored by WJCU 88.7 FM and Auburn Records, will be hosted by Destructor's Dave Overkill and Aurora Sans from Red Hot Heathens.

Admission to the concert is free, but don't just show up empty-handed. Bring some canned or non-perishable food to help feed some other people, you cheap bastard. —Michael Gallucci
