Local Photographer Chad Cochran to Open a Gallery and Portrait Studio at the 78th Street Studios

Born and raised in Fredericktown, OH, local photographer Chad Cochran began taking photographs of the rustic landscapes that surrounded him as a child. His fascination with decaying barns, old homes and vintage signs provided him with the connection to that small town where he grew up.

Recently, he’s been able to merge his lifelong love of music with photography, and his concert photos have been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard and Guitar Player Magazine. A portion of his concert photography is even archived at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

A Scene contributor, Cochran has just announced that he’ll join the Laurel Herbold gallery at 78th Street Studios. A grand opening will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, during the 78th Street Studios' Third Friday event.

Cochran’s work will be on display, and the new space will also have a portrait studio.
