Dear suburban residents:
There are legitimate reasons to call the cops. Theft, assault, robbery, someone driving in the fast lane while talking on a cell phone and going 50 mph. All good reasons.
Not good reasons: geese.
A passerby complained that someone had arranged carts around some geese and their babies in the TJ Maxx parking lot April 6, trapping the birds.Police found the geese were actually on an island, and someone had put carts and cones in the handicapped spot next to the island so no one parked too close.
The geese were all free to come and go as they pleased, a report said.
