Artists 4 Autism Benefit to Take Place at CODA on Thursday

Artists 4 Autism, a benefit that takes place at 7 p.m. on Thursday at CODA, will raise funds for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. for Autism, a local NPO that promotes “an integrated multi-disciplinary approach to treatment for individuals on the autism spectrum.”

The suggested $10 entry donation will include food (while supplies last), visual art and raffles.

The event will feature local acts such as Collin Miller, Sol Fox, Emily & Andrew, Alyssa Boyd and Runaway Lucy. CODA will donate all tips made from the night as well.

“I have participated and helped in other charitable events, but never have I organized one before. The amount of participation, interest and time dedicated from associates, friends and professionals in the area is overwhelming in such a positive way,” says Wes Woods, CEO of Forest City Ltd., in a press release about the event that his company is sponsoring. “I was inspired to put this all together because of my nephew, Jacen, who is autistic. He continues to show me how autism doesn’t limit his creativity and ability to connect with others and grow.”

If you can’t make it out but would still like to donate, you can do so here.
