Miller Schneider Gallery

Post-Pantheon. Though this is his first solo exhibition, recent CIA graduate Tyler Zeleny's  intricate, evocative inkjet prints have already intrigued and impressed on the local arts circuit. His most recent works explore how cooperative ethics can be suppressed by manipulation from above, and how actions, rather than essences, define individuals. Through May 18 at 16008 Waterloo Rd. River Gallery Arts

DOGS! Judy Ruby paints portraits of man's best friend in extreme close-ups to emphasize the animals' trusting intimacy. Sharon Sheinbart's tabletop sculptures portray canine expressions in moments of begging in their pathetic but endearing way. An opening reception will be held Friday March 23 from 3 to 7 p.m. The gallery will be accepting donations of dog food, treats, towels and blankets for the Friends of the Cleveland Kennel from 12 to 7 p.m. the same day. Flower of Life. Douglas Sanderson's almost Arabesque abstractions on Mylar use repeating yet evolving patterns of simple shapes to create a sort of visual music.
