Uno Lady's Christa Ebert.
Local musician and mixed media artist Christa Ebert performs as Uno Lady and composes songs with her voice, electronic effect pedals and unconventional instruments. Her music includes dream-like vocal layers and looping ethereal tones and beats that she knits together into one “lush soundscape.”

During her career, she’s received various awards, including SPACES' Urgent Art Fund, Chateau Orquevaux’s artist-in-residency, a Creative Workforce Fellow, an Akron Soul Train fellow and a Panza Foundation award.

Her new music video for the jazzy tune “Don’t Break My Heart” features Cleveland musicians Beth Hiser, Theresa May and Roseanna Safros. The video was filmed at Little Rose Tavern, a local bar and music venue owned by Roseanna Safros and her partner Sara Sterling. The video was edited by Christa Ebert and filmed by photographer Diana Hlywiak, who owns Apple Jax Toys with her husband Allen Singleton.

The song was recorded by Jeanna Lax and Christa Ebert at Rouge Studios.
