Ceracare is an all-natural dietary supplement designed to support optimal blood sugar levels.
This is a product tailored for people who want to optimize their blood sugar levels and need help doing it. That group includes diabetics and prediabetics but is not limited to them. The company behind the Ceracare proprietary formula claims that it will help most adult men and women feel and be healthier.
Due to sheer number of dietary supplements on the market, choosing our next product to review can be difficult at times. But every now and then a product generates so many mentions on social media that it becomes the obvious choice. That was the case with Ceracare, and we invite you to join us as we discuss our analysis of the product and thousands of reviews from actual customers who have used it.
What is Ceracare?
Ceracare is first and foremost a dietary supplement, and in the United States, that means that it is an unregulated product. That lack of regulation is the primary motivation for our reviews. Many dietary supplements are designed to fill gaps in a diet and support general well-being. Others are more focused, which is the case with this product. The Ceracare supplement has been engineered to infuse your body with natural antioxidants and to support optimal blood sugar levels by breaking the negative feedback loop that is responsible for the high numbers that many people experience. It also promotes better blood circulation, encourages a healthy glucose metabolism, boosts energy and bolsters your mood.
According to the Ceracare brand, the product has been developed based on four core tenets:
- Innovation: The formula is designed to provide you more antioxidants than any other supplement.
- Quality: Only fresh natural ingredients are used and processed according to GMP guidelines.
- Safety: This is a non-GMO, antibiotic-free, gluten-free product made in an FDA-registered facility.
- Strength: Ceracare contains a powerful formula that detoxifies and bolsters blood sugar health.

About the Ceracare Brand
The company behind the product, the product itself and the brand all share the Ceracare name. We will refer to the company as the Ceracare team, which includes medicinal chemists who helped to develop this advanced blood sugar support formula and continue to support it. That includes overseeing the manufacturing and packaging processes and being integrated into the quality control team.
If you have been researching this product, then you may have come across the name Christine Brown. While the main website does not, some of the ancillary media for the product shows images of Brown and weaves a story about a diabetic who developed this product for herself and decided to sell it when she realized how effective it was. None of this is true. According to the official CeraCare website, Christine Brown is a pen name. The story is used for marketing purposes, and any images are an actor portrayal.
While there is a lot to like about Ceracare, this is not one of them. We have trouble even wrapping our head around the motivation. That Ceracare was developed by a team of medicinal chemists will be deemed a positive by the average consumer. Why the company felt the need to concoct a story about a layman who developed the product in her kitchen is beyond us. It undermines consumer confidence, but with that said, that company has distanced itself from this marketing approach and no longer uses it.
How Does Ceracare Work?
The maker of Ceracare has developed a proprietary formula that combines vitamins and minerals along with various plant extracts that are known to contain antioxidants and affect glucose metabolism. It is important to note that this product is not a dietary supplement in the traditional sense. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you also take a multivitamin in order to cover any gaps in your diet.
In order to improve your blood sugar levels in a sustainable manner, the environment leading to the problem has to be changed, and you can assist on this front with hydration, a balanced diet and regular exercise. The Ceracare blood sugar formula also helps by improving blood circulation. Better circulation is conducive to breaking down sugar in the blood and flushing toxins from the body. The goal here is to get your glucose metabolism working as efficiently and effectively as possible.
With that environment in place, the formula also includes many ingredients that help the body reduce blood sugar levels in a fast and safe manner. It also helps to reduce the present of ceramide lipids. These lipids are a prediabetic indicator and present in high levels in people who have type 2 diabetes. Lowering those levels is effective because those lipids interfere with insulin secretion from the pancreas. The included antioxidants also help lower ceramide levels as well as reduce inflammation.
Controlling blood sugar levels coupled with reducing ceramide concentration can reverse a prediabetic condition. It could, in theory, also reverse a diabetic condition, and some users have made this claim. Can you really eliminate diabetes using Ceracare? It is theoretically possible. The Ceracare team, however, cannot legally make this claim, and we did not find enough evidence to make that claim either.

What Are the Potential Benefits of Taking Ceracare?
- Better blood health
- Improved blood sugar levels
- Increased energy levels and more vitality
- Improved health for diabetics and prediabetics
Ceracare is an all-natural supplement, which means that the average person can take it without concern and easily fit it into their current lifestyle whatever that may be. It is worth noting that this product will be more effective with the appropriate lifestyle, and we will touch on this more later when we discuss getting the best results. That said, even if you live a sedentary lifestyle and cannot or are not yet ready to change, we would not discourage you from using it because there are real benefits to be had.
As for those benefits, we will focus here on the four core points that are emphasized on the Ceracare sales page. One is improved blood health, and that encompasses better circulation, less toxins in the blood, more antioxidants in the blood and less inflammation. That helps you in regard to your systemic health but also insulin stability. By increasing your insulin levels and reducing your insulin resistance, this supplement makes it much easier to control your blood sugar levels even for diabetics and prediabetics.
A byproduct of all of this even for prediabetics and diabetics is more energy, greater vitality and increased endurance. Something we know from Ceracare reviews written by customers is that over time, they developed a better mindset and found the motivation to eat healthier and be more active.
Vitamins and Minerals in Ceracare
The Ceracare ingredients include eight important vitamins and minerals:
- Biotin [300 mcg] [1,000% DV]
- Chromium [76 mcg] [217% DV]
- Manganese [1 mg] [43% DV]
- Magnesium [125 mg] [30% DV]
- Vanadium [200 mcg] [n/a]
- Vitamin C [50 mg] [58% DV]
- Vitamin E [15 mg] [100% DV]
- Zinc [7.5 mg] [68% DV]
For each of these essential nutrients, we have provided the amount included in each capsule along with the daily value. Note that DVs are a guideline, and exceeding them is not necessarily bad for you. The FDA, for instance, has not set a recommended daily allowance for biotin, and many athletes take more than 300 mcg. However, you should look at your totals based on all of the dietary supplements you take, and vet each substance on an individual basis to ensure that you are taking a safe amount.
Biotin also goes by the name vitamin H and is a B vitamin and coenzyme. It is included here because it is known to decrease insulin resistance. Chromium is an ingredient in almost every diabetes supplement because it is known to lower blood sugar and blood fats and is integral to insulin activity. Manganese is vital to many blood processes, and magnesium is vital to blood pressure regulation. Vanadium is a substance that behaves similar to insulin. Meals high in vitamin C result in lower blood sugar levels. Vitamin E is integral to glycemic control, and zinc helps to optimize glucose levels. In fact, zinc is believed to help prevent diabetes, and zinc deficiencies are common in people who become diabetic.
Plant Extracts in Ceracare
In addition to those ingredients, the Ceracare blood sugar support supplement features a proprietary blend of plant extracts. The total amount is 415 mg. An itemized breakdown is not available.
- Banaba Leaf
- Bitter Melon
- Cayenne
- Cinnamon
- Guggul
- Gymnema Sylvestre
- Juniper Berry
- Licorice Root
- White Mulberry Leaf
- Yarrow
Banaba leaf is rich in corosolic acid, which clinical research has shown to reduce glucose levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Bitter melon activates an enzyme critical to glucose metabolism. It also behaves like insulin in that it helps to reduce glucose levels. Cayenne is included for its capsaicin, which is linked to reduced glucose levels as well. Not only has cayenne long been used in traditional medicine, but there is currently an FDA-regulated trial testing chili pepper-based treatments on diabetics.
Cinnamon is a rich source of antioxidants. It also helps elevate insulin sensitivity, which makes it easier to break down blood sugar. Guggul is an Indian plant that has many different names. It has been used for hundreds of years in a traditional medicine to treat diabetes even before they had a name for it. It is currently undergoing clinical testing on animals and should soon progress to humans.
Gymnema sylvestre is an African shrub believed to help prevent diabetes, and clinical studies have shown that this may be the case due to how in ramps up sugar absorption in the intestines. Juniper berries are considered a superfood because they are loaded with nutrients and antioxidants. Research has shown that these berries in a diet help diabetic rats to live much longer.
Licorice is one of the oldest known traditional medicines. It is used here because it reduces glucose levels but also because it helps to restore kidney function. Leaves from the white mulberry plant is a traditional medicine that stabilizes blood pressure and reduces cholesterol levels. Finally, yarrow is a notable traditional medicine that offers many health benefits in addition to behaving like insulin.
Other Ingredients in Ceracare
That proprietary blend also includes two substances that are not plant extracts:
- Alpha-Lipoic Acid
- L-Taurine
Alpha-lipoic acid—or ALA—is a chemical that behaves like a vitamin and is found naturally in many foods. ALA brings with it a wide range of health benefits, but it is included here because it used in the treatment of high cholesterol levels and high levels of other fats, including ceramide lipids.
L-taurine is an essential amino acid. The human body uses it in the process of absorbing fats and minerals. It is also necessary for the functioning of blood vessels. This helps with the blood circulation benefit for people in general and is also quite beneficial to prediabetics and diabetics.
The Ceracare capsules themselves are made from gelatin. Gelatin is a meat-based product. The Ceracare team does not indicate whether they use a vegetarian- or vegan-friendly alternative. Other ingredients include silicon dioxide, rice flour, microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate. Note that these are not active ingredients and generally included in supplements as binding and filling agents.

Is Ceracare Supported by Scientific Evidence?
The Ceracare team has not currently funded any clinical research of its product in particular. In addition, there have not been any independent research as far as we aware. There has, however, been a wealth of research done on the ingredients that this formula comprises. When we vetted these ingredients on an individual basis, it was clear why the medicinal chemists made the choices they did. Almost all of the ingredients are currently involved in research dealing with the treatment of diabetics, and in some cases, this includes trying to figure out how to reverse type 2 diabetes. If you want to vet these ingredients yourself, you can do so through reputable websites, such as the Mayo Clinic and WebMD.
Who Should Take Ceracare?
Anyone who has been diagnosed with diabetes or has been diagnosed as a prediabetic should consider this product. A common question we encountered during this review is does Ceracare support blood sugar control, and the answer according to thousands of reviews is a resounding yes. Many diabetics have found it much easier to control their levels thanks to this supplement, and many prediabetics have been able to reverse their condition. You do not need to be prediabetic or diabetic to benefit from this supplement, however. We would also recommend it to anyone who is concerned about their blood sugar and the potential to become prediabetic. If, for instance, you are someone who is obese and is working to change your lifestyle, Ceracare can benefit you while providing you great peace of mind.

Who Should Not Take Ceracare?
The general rule for all dietary supplements is that they should not be taken by people under the age of 18, and that is the case with this product too. The reason for this is that the ingredients have been tested on adults but not children. The Ceracare team also advises not using the product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Beyond that, any adult can use it regardless of age or gender.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Side effects are an understandable concern with any supplement due to the lack of FDA control. The good news is that we were unable to uncover any serious Ceracare side effects. In addition, we were not able to find any serious side effects associated with the ingredients that make up this supplement.
Potential side effects we did find include headaches, diarrhea, fatigue, nausea and sleeplessness. These cases were rare and generally due to an allergic reaction to one of the plant extracts. If you have a known allergy to any of these plants, you should avoid using the product. If you experience any of the side effects listed, stop using the product immediately and consult with your physician.
Should You Take Ceracare With Other Supplements?
You absolutely can combine Ceracare with other dietary supplements, and as mentioned earlier, we actually recommend taking at least a multivitamin. Of course, you should always be careful when combining supplements. Make a combined ingredients list so that you know how much of each item you are taking. You can then look those items up to ensure that you are not exceeding safe intake levels.
Should You Take Ceracare With Medications?
Our team was unable to find bad interactions between Ceracare and any medications. This includes both recorded interactions by medical professionals and reports via Ceracare customer reviews. Nevertheless, it is advisable to check with your physicians and pharmacist before combining supplements with your medications. The most common problem is that your medicine can render a supplement ineffective, such as by blocking absorption. Your pharmacist should be able to help you devise a schedule that lets you take your medications and supplements without interference.

Ceracare: Dosage and Long-Term Usage
The dosage guidelines from the Ceracare team are one capsule daily. Each bottle provides you a 30-day supply. The guidelines also indicate that you can take up to two capsules per day without any ill effects. However, the company never really supports that position, and based on our experience with numerous other supplements, we would not advise trying it until you are already experiencing success.
As is the case with most dietary supplements, it is recommended that you take the supplement with a glass of water and a meal. This helps to ensure optimal absorption. What is interesting is that the Ceracare team specifies the evening meal. The reason it does this is that the after-supper period is when glucose levels will be at their highest for the average person.
When you will notice results depends. Earlier, we discussed setting the stage and breaking the feedback loop. That takes time, and you will not feel the results until that happens. Experiencing results within 30 days is common, but it can take as long as 60 days. The Ceracare team recommends taking the supplement for at least 90 days. You will continue to benefit post-cycle, but for how long is unknown. We are of the mind that if the supplement is working for you, we would continue to use it, and the company also indicates that there are no health concerns associated with ongoing usage.
How to Get the Best Results With Ceracare
Does Ceracare really work? Yes! But why does it work better for some people than others? Well, one reason is physiology. Each body is unique and responds differently. But another reason—and one you have greater control over—is lifestyle. Can you improve your blood sugar levels while you continue to live an inactive lifestyle and eat whatever you want whenever you want? Sure. Ceracare will still work, but you are not going to enjoy the same success as someone who works hard at their health.
You do not have to make all the lifestyle changes you need right away. Small steps will get you where you need to be as long as you continue to make them. Start with hydration. Drink a lot of water, and try to limit non-water drinks as much as possible. Work on balancing your diet. Limit bad carbs, and if you eat sugary foods, search for alternatives that are better for you but that you also enjoy. Finally, get regular exercise. Even if it is a short walk down your street each day, it is a start. Work up to 10 minutes a day and finally 30 minutes each day. It is worth it. You will love how you feel.
How to Purchase Ceracare
The only way currently to buy Ceracare is through the Ceracare official website. The company behind the product has opted not to sell it via GNC and other retailers in order to maintain quality assurance. We know this can be a bit confusing because you may see what looks like Ceracare on Amazon and eBay, but those are imitation products from China. They do not work and could be dangerous. In fact, we came across a number of unverified but real reviews from people who had purchased from third-party sellers on Amazon and did not get the results that so many other people were enjoying.
Ceracare Pricing
Ceracare is sold for $69 a bottle, which provides a 30-day supply. That is a decent price for a specialized supplement such as this one, but you can save money with a bulk purchase. If you purchase at least three bottles, the price is reduced to $59 a bottle, and if you purchase at least six bottles, the price is further reduced to $49 a bottle. The Ceracare team recommends taking the supplement for at least three months, and since there is a refund policy, we recommend at least a three-bottle purchase.
Ceracare Shipping
Ceracare is shipped anywhere in the world. Ceracare shipping is free for domestic orders even if you purchase just one bottle. Domestic orders arrive within seven business days. International shipping costs and time frames depend on the destination country. Be mindful that customs in addition to logistical challenges caused by the pandemic can affect shipping costs and times.
Ceracare Refund Policy
Ceracare does have a no-questions-asked refund policy, and that does help us to be bullish in recommending it. If the product does not work for you, you can get a huge junk of your money back. The company gives you 60 days from purchase to request an RMA via email. You will receive the RMA number within 24 hours. You can then return all opened and unopened bottles at your expense. Once they arrive, Ceracare will refund you your money minus a 30% restocking fee.
Ceracare Customer Reviews
Social media mentions are what drew our attention to this product and led to this Ceracare review, but eliminating the noise requires us to focus on those reviews we could verify. So, that is exactly what we did, and we were able to gather almost 10,000 reviews that fit our criteria, and that is more than enough sample. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive—as in more than an 85% approval rating. Around 60% of those reviews indicated that Ceracare had exceeded their expectations. Better yet, less than 3% indicated that they were unsatisfied and had requested or had considered requesting a refund.
Final Verdict
Ceracare is one of the most impressive supplements we have reviewed in a long time. The consumer response to this product is incredible, and we understand the excitement on social media now. When we first started digging for answers to questions like how does Ceracare affect blood sugar, we were a bit skeptical, but the research we encountered was really exciting and intriguing.
Can we say with certainty that Ceracare helps everyone or that it will help you? No, but I can share with you a story about a woman we interviewed. She is in her 40s and has really struggled with glycemic control since about age 30. Modern medicine had no answers for her. She had been trying various traditional treatments with little luck. Her husband bought her Ceracare on a whim, and as she tells this story sitting there next to him, she starts to cry, and he holds her. It is a moment that will stick with me forever.
