Thief Caught Because of Footprints in Snow (This Will Now Start Happening Quite Often)

With the accumulation of snow we're likely to see over the next few days, be prepared for a steady barrage of police reports citing "footprints in snow" as the reason behind moronic thieves getting caught. It's already starting!

An Akron man was robbed at knifepoint yesterday, losing his briefcase and a roll of money before he could call police. Thankfully, the thief left footprints in the snow, which allowed the victim and the authorities to track him down with ease.

Frederick C. West, 48, was charged with aggravated robbery, obstructing official business and possession of drug paraphernalia.

This scenario plays out every time it snows here in Northeast Ohio, and it's always funny (as long as justice is served, which often happens). At this point, we could fill out a small library with the amount of stupidity we've seen in these long, cold winters.
