Toast updated its Covid health policy

Toast (1365 W 65th St., 216-862-8974) announced this week that like Mojo and Felice, it will soon require proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test from diners.

That policy begins Friday, Oct. 1.

"We are updating our COVID policies so we can protect our community, staff and guests to the best of our ability," the Detroit Shoreway restaurant said in an Instagram post. "Starting Friday, October 1st, we will be requiring all guests to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test dated within 72 hours of your visit. If you do not have proof of vaccination you are welcome to get take out or dine on our lovely patio. We will accept : original vaccination cards or copies/photos of it. Selfies with your card are also valid forms of proof. We really appreciate your patience and cooperation while we modify our policies to keep up with the demands of the times. Our goal is to keep YOU as safe as possible while still giving access to wonderful cocktails and food."
