Cleveland Joins 'Meatless Monday' Trend

Joining the likes of Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., Cleveland has called for residents to eat more healthful meals and, specifically, avoid meat on Mondays. This was actually done via City Council resolution.

Alliteration does tend to help social movements, this one being focused on "going green" and raising national awareness of animal protection rights, according to the Humane Society of the U.S. Experts also claim that "Meatless Monday" will provide your annoying coworkers with yet another self-righteous talking point when debating lunch options.
