Mentor police arrested Euclid resident DaJon Hill, 19, for trafficking after officers found a scale, several cell phones, and .6 grams of heroin in his car. Behind bars, he transferred his number to his girlfriend's phone. When officers called that number, Jaime Hairston-Brown, 23, answered and attempted to continue Hill's less-than-stellar business. She needed bail money, duh!
Police agreed to meet with the woman, later identified as 23-year-old Jaime Hairston-Brown, on Route 306 near Route 2. At about 1 p.m. Sept. 8, three people arrived to meet police and were arrested. Officers also allegedly seized cocaine, heroin, marijuana, cell phones and about $500, police said.
