Leonard Jackson, commissioner of interscholastic athletics at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, will face menacing, assault and disorderly conduct charges tomorrow in Euclid Municipal Court.
Former Cleveland Schools teacher Vito Federici says he was assaulted by Jackson in March 2014 at Euclid High School during a basketball tournament. According to Federici, Jackson grabbed and pushed him while threatening more harm.
Jackson, who was placed on paid leave, has denied the charges to police.
Last year, he filed a stalking complaint against Federici with the Pepper Pike Police Department. The two used to work together, and certainly now have a history of some sort of feud. Federici told police at the time of this menacing report that he's a "whistle blower" and he's "tired of being bullied."
