These people aren't just regular Taylor Swift fans. They're dedicated.
“We’ve seen her a whole bunch of times,” father and Swift fan Rob Hixenbaugh, 45, said. His daughter Ava (12) says she’s been a fan of the songstress since she was 6 years old. “She’s a great inspiration for young girls,” he said.
Though this is the first time the pair have waited before dawn to catch a glimpse of Swift, this wouldn't be the first time Ava has met her idol.
The last time T. Swift played the Q, Ava and her dad made sure she was front and center, snagging the attention of Swift’s mother Andrea Finlay.
“It was a pretty big deal. Her (Swift’s) mom picked Ava up and set her on stage,” Medina-native Hixenbaugh said. “Taylor sang to her, and then afterward, her mom came up to me and said ‘I’d like my daughter to meet your daughter.’”
The moment was caught on film by Hixenbaugh and ended up going viral, with Fox News, Perez Hilton and Cleveland.com all picking up the story.
“That had been her dream for years. We were dressed up, and she was ready,” he said of meeting Swift.
The Hixenbaughs are dressed up again in matching blue, yellow and white Taylor Swift cheer leading uniforms they had made, waiting to be noticed for a second time.
“We got all dressed up and we’re just having a father-daughter day together,” the proud dad said.
