Construction is just about finished at the Holiday Inn Cleveland Clinic, and it's scheduled to open in mid-April. (All these new hotels, Cleveland! Can you hardly wait?)
The 276-room hotel is located at 8650 Euclid Avenue and will increase hotel room availability in University Circle by 33 percent. It will have a modern, metropolitan feel with a two-story atrium built into the design. The hotel also has a fitness center, indoor pool and sauna, a cocktail and espresso lounge and garden patio. A fast-casual dining restaurant called the Mocé Café will also be on site.
The hotel was built to mirror some of the architectural staples found throughout the Cleveland Clinic campus.
“This is not your ordinary Holiday Inn,” said Campbell Black, regional director of operations and general manager at InterContinental Hotels Group, which will be managing the new hotel, in a press release. “I think guests will be astonished at the quality, service and styling of this remarkable facility.”
The hotel also hopes to host events, including formal ones. It has private space available for meetings and dinners, which can accommodate as many as 80 people.
