The world lost one of its greatest musical icons earlier this year when Prince died at his home. Over his 35-plus-year career, he released some 39 solo studio albums, becoming one of rock's adventurous acts in the process.
Tomorrow night on what would have been Prince's 58th birthday, the Rock Hall will host a free celebration of the life and music of the 2004 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee. "Let's Go Crazy! A Prince Dance Party" will feature live DJs, food, music and dancing on Rock Hall plaza. There will be costume contests, trivia and membership discounts. Attendees can tour the Rock Hall's main exhibition hall for only $5.
In addition, the Rock Hall will screen Prince's Induction Ceremony performances in the Forest City Theater. DJ Roadrunner, DJ KNyce, DJ Corey Grand will perform as will vocalists Lolah Brown, Jabtune, and D’bryant Cross.
The event takes place from 6 to 9 p.m.
