[image-1]It looks like Harry Buffalo will receive an RNC makeover next week from CNN. The restaurant will be transformed to become the site of the “CNN Grill” which will be home to live broadcast studios and local eats.
With its close proximity to the action at The Q, it’s no wonder CNN chose to make Harry Buff their home. The spot known mostly for choice dinners before an Indians game will act as a newsroom for live broadcasting and a restaurant with multiple bars during the RNC wackiness.
“The ultimate convention destination, the CNN Grill is where lawmakers, celebrities, reporters and politicos meet to make news and make merry,” according to a CNN press release.
To get a taste of Cleveland, the Grill will feature Pierogies of Cleveland, Mitchell’s Ice Cream, Humble Pie Baking Company and Rising Star Coffee. Along with these favorites, CNN Grill has a custom menu created by STARR Catering Group.
The Grill will be hosting special events throughout the four-day period, along with invited guests nightly starting at 5 p.m. every night, surely making news and making merry all the while. Also, it is our understanding that if you challenge Jake Tapper to a pierogi-eating contest three times, he's legally obligated to accept. Have a ball.
