Magic is happening at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and we can only hope it reaches Cleveland ASAP.
Paline, a French vending machine company, has chosen the school to be the first location in North America to have a pizza vending machine. After all, what better place for the trial balloon of ready-made cheap food than a college campus.
The machine is designed to hold up to 70 pizzas running $10 apiece. The machine heats and boxes the pizzas individually before being delivered in cheesy glory through a slot.
Listen, pizza in general is delicious and like sex, is good even when it's bad. But a machine-cooked pie?
"It is the best pizza I've ever had, and I hate to admit that as a New Yorker," Jennifer Paiotti, marketing director of XU's auxiliary services, told WCPO.
