Kent State Ranked Top Ten Nationally for Sugar Baby/Daddy Website Signups

"FAFSA and grants can be a nightmare - that's if you are approved. With SeekingArrangement.com’s Sugar Baby University, students from all backgrounds and income levels are welcome. No minimum GPA required."

So begins some of the introductory remarks on SeekingArrangement, a site that connects sugar daddies and sugar babies, ostensibly to help students pay college tuition.

Each year, the site releases a list of the schools and universities with the most signups. And lest you think they are exaggerating for effect, SeekingArrangement would remind you that the process includes rigorously checking profiles for actual students and using only email addresses connected to pantheons of higher education in the tabulation.

Kent State, for whatever reason, has always fared well in the rankings and 2016 was no different. The Golden Flashes came in at No. 8 nationally and tops in the Buckeye State with 124 new signups this past year, bringing their active total to 1,074 Golden Flashes participating on the site. They claim the average sugar baby takes home an average of $2,400 a month, which definitely helps defray the cost of tuition at KSU — $20,000 or so including room and board for Ohio residents, $29,000 or so for out-0f-staters.

“Students are tired of hearing politician’s hyperbole about what they might do to resolve the student debt crisis,” CEO Brandon Wade said in a statement. “They’re taking matters into their own hands.”

In case you're curious what it takes, the site's YouTube page provides some helpful instructions for beginners, like how to create the perfect profile and how to "dress for daddy."
