Ohio BMV Has a Silly New Mascot, and it Needs an 'Appropriate Name'

The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles has unveiled a silly new cartoon mascot — a license plate complete with, oh yes, hands, eyeballs and sneakers. However, the cute, but unnecessary, little guy/gal still needs a name.

Today, the department tweeted that they need the public's help in coming up with the proper moniker. But they had one stipulation: "Only appropriate names will be considered."

So far, Twitter user Mike deCourcy's ridiculous suggestion of Platey McPlate Face is our favorite.

What ideas, appropriate or otherwise, do you have?
