Dr Kay Jamison said it best - "An unquiet mind". The continuous loop of internal dialogue. The highs. The lows. Finally, twelve(12)years removed from my original diagnosis, I've learned to respect my illness. Take it seriously. Find my purpose. Find my passion. Help is desperately needed for the millions suffering from Bipolar Disorder and severe depression. More than just coping methods. More than medication. What's the source? What's the gene? It's time to reach out. Raise awareness. Raise money for research. No better time than now. You see, during this rollercoaster ride, I've lost everything. My money. My frends. My soul. But somemhow I've found the strength to navigate through Bipolar Disorder's gauntlet. Always misunderstood.'Never enough'. Years of pain. Years of expectations. Years of disappointment have led me to an epiphany - In this game we call life, it's not if you win or lose, but how you play the game. If you can survive.
